A bit about NMP Vol II Artists
We are back with the second volume and this time it boasts of the very popular international acts like Tesseract (UK), Madsic (USA), My Fair Lady (Brazil) and Antagonist AD (NZ) alongside popular Indian bands like IIIrd Sovereign, Infected, Flashflood and popular heavy metal Bengali act Kripa.
Tesseract (UK) boasts of appearances at Bloodstock, Hammerfest, Caos Emergente in Portugal and the recent Hellfire 2 festival at the Birmingham NEC arena. They have two songs in the album – ‘Deception Concealing Fate’ and ‘Lament’. The track ‘Lament’ was featured on Metal Hammer’s November 2009 issue cover CD. It is a sneak peak to their much awaited album which gets released in 2011.
Madsic (Florida, USA) features in the album with their widely appreciated track ‘Distance of Hate’. In 2006, their song Distance of Hate appeared on the Sonic Onslaught Vol. 2 Compilation CD along with bands such as Soil, Mushroomhead, Powerman 5000, Vanilla Ice, and Sworn Enemy. Also in 2006, they received endorsement through Switch music out of Los Angeles.
In 2007, they began getting radio station recognition with airplay and an interview on Metalkast Radio out of Minnesota and Raven’s Eggs and Kegs show out of Colorado. They were also interviewed online through Hollywood Music TV in Canada.
In 2008, an online contest called Metal Cage Fight 2008 done by MetalEvolution.net, decided by fan votes, was won by Madsic and they were dubbed by the station “Masters of Metal 2008”.
2008 also found Madsic on the main stage on the first year of the Kryptonite Metalfest at Tobacco Road in Miami, one of America’s oldest and most historic venues.
In 2009, Madsic performed at Lollapalooza’s Locofest South 2009 with such great bands as Mudvayne, Nonpoint, and Hed PE
Recently, the video for Distance Of Hate, which has been 1 on MySpace Charts for all Unsigned Metal bands in the world for three months now, is climbing the charts on the listing for ALL METAL BANDS (SIGNED INCLUDED) topping out at 18 so far.
Antagonist A.D (NZ) is a very popular act from New Zealand who has played in many prestigious concerts in Australia, USA, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. They have shared the main stage with Rage Against The Machine in Auckland’s Bid Day Out ’08.

You taught me to Stand Up and Shout
I was so excited when I heard that Dadu was planning to come up with another Heaven and Hell and Dio record later this year. He was battling stomach cancer but he was confident of winning over it. But I guess someone needed him more than his fans did...bon voyage Dadu.
For the Bangla Rock lovers, many would vouch that how their icon Roopam da taught them to show the \m/ (devil's horn) when a rock show was on, without knowing that it was Dadu who first taught the world what Devil's horn was.
Many of Dadu's fans all around the world would remember him as the iconic singer of Rainbow and later on Black Sabbath. But to me he was one with whom nothing would go wrong when he was on stage. Night after night whose voice would never flinch an inch even if he would start from a high A. His voice would never loose an iota of power even when he sung the highest of notes. I will always remain in awe when I watch his pitch perfect live performances and his incredible stage presence. My near and dear ones would know that I am a Maiden person but few would actually know that to me Dadu was of a different league. I cannot describe the feeling when I first rehearsed 'Rainbow in the Dark' with Rikterskale. It was a dream come true.
